Types of exams offered
Brain and pre-brain MRI
Brain and pre-brain MRI is an imaging test that uses strong magnetic fields to obtain detailed images of the brain and surrounding structures. This examination is crucial for diagnosing neurological pathologies, evaluating strokes, brain tumors or abnormalities of cerebral vessels.
Duration: approximately 30 to 60 minutes. Non-invasive, sometimes with the injection of a contrast product.
Indications: diagnosis of stroke, evaluation of brain tumors, monitoring of cerebrovascular abnormalities, investigation of neurological disorders. Inform the technician of any allergies to the contrast material before the exam.
Osteoarticular MRI
Osteoarticular MRI is a non-invasive imaging test that uses a powerful magnetic field to obtain detailed images of bones, joints, ligaments, tendons and muscles. This examination is essential for diagnosing and evaluating joint and musculoskeletal pathologies, such as osteoarthritis, ligament tears or inflammation.
Duration: approximately 30 to 60 minutes. Non-invasive and painless.
Indications: assessment of joint pain, diagnosis of soft tissue injuries, post-operative follow-up, detection of inflammation and fractures. No specific preparation is required.
MRI arthrography and CT arthrography
MRI arthrography and CT arthrography are specialized exams that combine the injection of contrast material into a joint with advanced imaging techniques (MRI or CT scan) to obtain precise images of the internal structures of the joint. joint. These examinations allow a detailed assessment of joint pathologies, such as cartilage lesions, ligament tears, or rotator cuff pathologies.
Duration: approximately 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the exam. Slightly invasive due to intra-articular contrast injection.
Indications: in-depth investigation of joint pathologies, diagnosis of complex lesions, preparation for surgery. Inform the technician of any allergies to the contrast material before the exam.
Guided infiltrations
Guided infiltrations are therapeutic procedures using imaging (MRI, CT scan or ultrasound) to precisely guide the injection of anti-inflammatory drugs or anesthetics into a joint or near a nerve. These injections are given to relieve pain, reduce inflammation or improve joint mobility.
Duration: approximately 15 to 30 minutes. Slightly invasive.
Indications: treatment of joint pain, tendonitis, bursitis, or chronic nerve pain. No specific preparation is required, but it is advisable to discuss your current treatment with the doctor before the infiltration.
